If onthedigitalstreet isn’t recognizing the loopback sound source on Windows XP, this might help get it working:
- Open the windows mixer by double clicking the volume icon.
- Go to Options -> Properties
- Click the record radio button
- Click OK
- Now, check the “Wave Out” option. Windows is not configured to record from the loopback sound source. If you want to record from the microphone or line in, you’ll have to repeat these steps and check the appropriate option instead of the “Wave Out” option.
- Go back to Options -> Properties
- Click the playback radio button
- Click OK
